Installation was pretty easy although the top is extremely heavy so you'll definitely need 2 people. You can't see it in the picture, but mine has a small groove about half-way between the fire pit and the edge, all the way around.Puts out a good bit of heat but the heat mostly goes up and not out. (I've never had a fire pit before but I'm sure they all suffer from that problem. Darn physics.)I'm using a plumbed natural gas line for mine instead of a propane tank so I never have to worry about refilling it. It whistles a little bit as it's running which gets annoying.The hole in the control panel to put the sparker button was off by 1/8" so it didn't quite fit correctly. It was tricky to get it in there but I got it eventually. Everything else seems to be built correctly though.
