They are all respectable musicians. John Goodsall, Doug Lunn and of course Chester Thompson. Some fusion is melodic and has memorable parts. This is good, but nothing grabbed me by the seat of the pants like Malaga Virgin or Nuclear Burn did. As A drummer, I had hoped Chester would have been given free reign to show off the chops that got him the gig with both Zappa and Genesis. With a power trio, this may have made sense. For me it's too mild, good but not great.If you get a deal on the price , buy it. If not, listen to it first before plunking down any serious dough.
