It arrived a day ahead of expected in a large box. Everything was well protected and after careful unwrapping nothing was found to be either damaged or missing. I recommend checking a lot otherwise it could be very frustrating if half way through the build something is either found to be damaged or missing.I used the large cardboard box as a mat upon which to build it placing the round table top upside down as recommended in the instructions.I then followed the instructions joining all the sides together but very loosely. Despite the instructions saying tighten the nuts and bolts once the sides were together I then placed the sides as per instructions on the upturned top. By being loose this made it easier to ensure easy attachment to the top.With the door CLOSED I then firstly tightened the sides to the top before tightening the side panels, always tightening on an opposite basis to ensure better alignment.After attaching the gas canister holder, do make sure you fit it the correct way around as detailed in the clear instructions I then with the help of my partner turned the table over ( only time you need two people )Installed the burner, ignition battery.BEFORE adding the glass ( I used blue glass from a previous burner ) make sure the burner lights otherwise if for whatever reason you need to check the burner it will be a lot easier.I added the glass slowly ensuring the ignition area was clear as recommended in the instructions.The heat given off was good and we’ve invested in a glass screen to protect the flame from the wind which is yet to arriveDelighted with our new fire pit. It looks great, is well made and easy to build.I prefer my blue fire glass to the clear glass but that’s just personal preference.The cover is good and I’ll place a couple of the polystyrene blocks that was used in packing to place under the cover to allow air circulation.Delighted with my purchase. Perfect size for our basement patio.
